    2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia Requirements - Poria cocos detection spectrum

    The 2025 edition of the Pharmacopoeia has added a quantitative detection method for β - (1 → 3) - glucan, using high-performance liquid chromatography evaporative light scattering detector (HPLC-ELSD) method (General Rule 0512), calculated as anhydrous glucose, with a content of not less than 50.0%. In the specific operation, a secondary/tertiary amine bonded silica gel chromatography column is required, with acetonitrile water (80:20) as the mobile phase, and glucose is released by acid hydrolysis treatment of the sample. The Ecosil Amino Mix chromatographic column, specifically designed for Poria cocos, can meet the requirements of the 2025 Pharmacopoeia for the determination of Poria cocos content.

    2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia Part IV - Detection of Maltotriose, Trehalose, and Glucose Content

    According to the latest regulations of Volume 4 of the 2025 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, for the determination of maltotriose, trehalose, and glucose content, the separation degree between maltotriose, trehalose, and glucose peaks should be ≥ 1.5. The reference solution should be injected three times, and the relative standard deviation (RSD) of the main peak area should not exceed 2.0%. The ECOSIL Sugar Na liquid chromatography column can meet the requirements of pharmacopoeia for the determination of maltotriose, trehalose, and glucose content, and can be used for this project.

    2025 Chinese Pharmacopoeia Part IV - Determination of Mannitol Related Substances and Content

    According to the fourth part of the 2025 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia, regarding the determination of substances and content related to mannitol, the Ecosil Sugar Ca liquid chromatography column was tested under the chromatographic conditions required by the Pharmacopoeia. In the system suitability solution (1) chromatogram, the separation degree between the mannitol peak and the sorbitol peak was 5.9, which is higher than the standard requirement of 2:0; In the chromatogram of system suitability solution (2), the separation degree of the first chromatographic peak of maltitol and isomaltulose is 2.3, which is higher than the standard requirement of 1.5. The signal-to-noise ratio in system solution (3) is 30, which meets the quantitative limit requirement and can be used for the determination of this project.

    GB 5009.253-2016 National Food Safety Standard - Comprehensive Scheme for Determination of Perfluorinated Compounds of Animal Origin.
