super thermostatic bathTemperature stability is achieved through a precision temperature control system, with core components including a bath, heating/cooling unit, temperature controller, stirrer, sensor, and circulation pump. Taking Hart Company's constant temperature bath as an example, it adopts PID proportional integral control technology, combined with platinum resistance (PRT) temperature sensors, to achieve ultra-high precision control of ± 0.0001 ℃. The inner tank of the equipment is mostly made of stainless steel material, with an external insulation layer to reduce heat loss. The mixing system eliminates horizontal and vertical temperature gradients through propeller design, ensuring uniform mixing of the medium in the tank.

super thermostatic bathThe operational process

1. Preliminary preparation

Media selection: Select different media according to temperature requirements. Purified water is commonly used from room temperature to 95 ℃; Recommended 15% glycerol aqueous solution at 80-100 ℃; If the temperature exceeds 100 ℃ or in low-temperature scenarios (such as -80 ℃), silicone oil or alcohol is required. For example, the DY-RTS80 constant temperature bath supports a wide temperature range of -80 ℃ to 105 ℃, covering experimental requirements.

Liquid filling: The medium in the tank should be added to at least 2/3 of the total height, and the liquid level should be 30-43mm away from the cover plate to avoid damage to the electric heating tube due to empty burning. The connection of the circulation system needs to distinguish between internal circulation (self circulation of hoses) and external circulation (connection to external containers), and ensure that the inlet and outlet pipes are not blocked.

2. Temperature setting and control

Basic operation: After connecting the power, set the target temperature through the control panel. For example, when the room temperature needs to be raised from 20 ℃ to 25 ℃, first turn on the heater switch, and when the water temperature approaches the set value, switch to low-power heating mode. Hart devices support 8 preset temperature points and can quickly switch experimental conditions.

Intelligent control: PID algorithm automatically adjusts heating/cooling power to reduce overshoot. The DY-RTS80 model can complete temperature conversion within 10 minutes, increasing efficiency by 50%. Users can remotely monitor device status through the RS-232 interface or use the "Interface it" software to achieve multi device collaborative control.

3. Operation monitoring

Real time observation: Double check temperature through precision thermometer and instrument digital display. If there is a temperature fluctuation exceeding ± 0.5 ℃ or the alarm light is on, check the status of the cooling fan, power supply voltage, and circulation pump. For example, poor heat dissipation or unstable voltage may cause the equipment to automatically shut down.

Exception handling: When the temperature cannot reach the set value, check the resistance of the heating element, sensor calibration, or whether the impeller of the circulation pump is blocked. If the tank leaks, the interface needs to be tightened or the sealing ring needs to be replaced.

super thermostatic bathMaintenance and upkeep standards

1. Daily maintenance

Cleaning and stain prevention: After use, promptly drain the liquid and wipe the inner wall with a soft cloth to prevent residue from corroding the tank body. It is recommended to replace the deionized water in the water bath every week to avoid the growth of scale. Apply Vaseline to the silicone sealing ring every quarter to prevent aging.

System inspection: Clean the inlet/outlet filters monthly, check the scaling of the heating pipes, and if necessary, soak them in citric acid for cleaning. Calibrate the PT100 sensor with a standard thermometer every six months to ensure an error of ≤± 0.1 ℃.

2. Long term maintenance

Electrical safety: Regularly test the insulation resistance of power lines to ensure effective grounding of the casing. When the equipment is not in use for a long time, it is necessary to empty the liquid, clean the tank, cover it with a dust cover, and store it in a dry environment.

Component replacement: Vulnerable parts such as heating tubes and sensors need to be replaced according to the manufacturer's recommended cycle. Hart equipment requires checking the refrigerant pressure every 2000 hours and maintaining the compressor every six months.

Safety operation standards

1. Basic safety guidelines

Grounding protection: The equipment casing must be reliably grounded to prevent the risk of electric shock. It is strictly prohibited to start the heater without water, otherwise it may burn out the electric heating tube.

Environmental requirements: Avoid use in strong magnetic fields, corrosive gases, or high temperature and high humidity environments. A ventilation space of at least 30mm should be left around the equipment to ensure good heat dissipation.

2. Emergency response

Overtemperature protection: If the temperature exceeds the set value by 2 ℃, the overtemperature light will turn on and the system will automatically stop heating. At this point, it is necessary to check the temperature controller settings or contact professional personnel for maintenance.

Leakage protection: If the power cord is found to be aging or the plug is abnormal, the power should be immediately cut off and replaced. Non professionals are prohibited from disassembling the control side panel for safety reasons.
