Stainless steel molecular distillation apparatusAnalysis of the entire process of operation details
1. Preliminary preparation and equipment inspection
Material pretreatment: High viscosity materials (such as resins and oils) require vacuum degassing (≤ 100Pa, 2h) and the addition of 0.1% -0.5% antioxidants; Materials containing solid particles need to be filtered to a particle size of less than 50 μ m;
Sealing verification: Helium mass spectrometer leak detector is used to detect system leakage rate ≤ 1 × 10 ⁻⁹ Pa · m ³/s, with a focus on checking the feed valve, cold trap interface, and scraper seal ring;
Cold trap pre cooling: Inject liquid nitrogen to 2/3 of the volume, run for 30 minutes to confirm that the temperature is stable at -150 ℃ to -120 ℃, and replenish liquid nitrogen every 2 hours;
Electrical safety: Grounding resistance ≤ 4 Ω, independent power supply wiring, avoid sharing circuits with high-power equipment.
2. Core operating procedures
Vacuum establishment: After the mechanical pump is pre pumped to 10Pa, switch to the diffusion pump and control the vacuum gradient (pre pumping section 10-100Pa, distillation section 0.1-10Pa, collection section 10-100Pa);
Temperature control: three-stage heating strategy - evaporation surface ≤ 200 ℃ (to avoid coking), condensation surface -80 ℃ to -50 ℃, scraper preheating to 80 ℃;
Feeding and film formation: Start the film scraping motor (speed 200-400rpm), with an initial feeding speed of ≤ 10mL/min, gradually increase to 50mL/min after the system stabilizes;
Distillate collection: Light components (such as terpenes) are first evaporated and then liquefied by a condenser before entering the primary collection bottle; Residual components (such as wax) remain in the evaporator and are discharged through a residual valve;
Process monitoring: Record vacuum degree, temperature, and feed rate data every 15 minutes. When the temperature fluctuation on the evaporation surface is greater than ± 5 ℃, an alarm is triggered, and the heater power or scraper operation status needs to be checked.
3. Ending and Cleaning
Shutdown sequence: Close the feed valve → Stop heating → Wait for the temperature to drop below 80 ℃ → Close the vacuum pump → Slowly release pressure to atmospheric pressure;
Cleaning process: Ethanol/isopropanol is circulated to rinse the distillation chamber three times, and high viscosity materials need to be rinsed with hot water; Clean the condenser quarterly with a 5% citric acid solution;
Residue treatment: Waste materials are disposed of according to hazardous waste standards, with a solvent recovery rate of ≥ 95%, meeting environmental emission requirements.
Stainless steel molecular distillation apparatusFull cycle management of maintenance and upkeep
1. Daily maintenance
Cleaning and disinfection: Wipe the surface of the equipment with 75% ethanol, and disinfect the internal pipelines with 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution every month;
Seal inspection: Check the wear of O-rings and mechanical seals after each batch of operation, with a replacement cycle of ≤ 100 batches;
Lubrication management: Food grade lubricating grease is added to the scraper bearings every month, and the lubricating oil for the gearbox is replaced every quarter;
Vacuum pump maintenance: Mechanical pump oil is replaced every 3 months, diffusion pump oil is replaced every month, and filter element is cleaned every quarter.
2. Regular maintenance
Calibration and testing: Temperature sensors are calibrated every six months (compared to standard platinum resistors), and vacuum gauges are sent for inspection every year;
Performance testing: Conduct a maximum vacuum degree test (≤ 0.01Pa) and a condensation efficiency test (condensation recovery rate ≥ 98%) every six months;
Structural inspection: Conduct an annual endoscopic inspection of the evaporator and condenser to assess corrosion and scaling conditions;
Safety valve calibration: The pressure safety valve is calibrated once a year to ensure that the opening and closing pressure meets the design requirements.
3. Long term disuse and storage
Shutdown preparation: Drain all media, blow the system with nitrogen, and apply rust proof oil to the surface of the equipment;
Storage environment: temperature 5-35 ℃, humidity ≤ 60%, avoid direct sunlight, covered with dust cover;
Regular startup: Start up and run for 1 hour every month to check if all system functions are normal.
Stainless steel molecular distillation apparatusSafety regulations and emergency response
1. Operational safety regulations
Personal protection: Wear anti freezing gloves (nitrile rubber), goggles, and lab clothes during operation to avoid contact with low-temperature surfaces (below -80 ℃);
Electrical safety: Do not operate with wet hands, ensure good grounding of equipment, and equip with leakage protection devices;
Material safety: Familiar with MSDS of materials, thermal sensitive substances need to be tested for thermal stability in advance;
Ventilation requirements: The operating room should maintain good ventilation and be equipped with combustible gas alarms.
2. Emergency response plan
Vacuum leakage: Immediately close the feed valve, start nitrogen purging, and investigate the leakage point;
Temperature out of control: Cut off the heating power and activate the emergency cooling system;
Material leakage: Absorb with oil absorbing cotton, cover with sand, and dilute with ventilation;
Fire accident: Use dry powder fire extinguishers and strictly prohibit using water to extinguish fires.
