Escherichia coli/Escherichia coli/Chlorine/pH value--

1. Use low range chlorine to detect the chlorine content in the outlet and water tank.

2. Use pH value to detect the pH content of water.

3. Escherichia coli/Escherichia coli testing (take 100ml sample)

4. Use a total bacterial value test board to detect low levels of aerobic bacteria in water pipes.

If the E. coli test shows a positive reaction, measures should be taken to identify and isolate the issue. To check the chlorine content in the water tank, adjust it if necessary (effective chlorine content between 1-2ml/L). To flush the contaminated water outlet and detect the chlorine content (free chlorine must be greater than 0.2ml/L). After secondary chlorination, it is necessary to test again to ensure that the bacterial content has decreased.

If it persists until it reaches E. coli or Escherichia coli, the drinking water system should be super chlorinated (whitewashed) and the water tank should be rinsed and filled with clean water. Re test to ensure that the water does not contain coliform bacteria and Escherichia coli.

Testing items: free chlorine, compound chlorine, total chlorine

Step: Free Chlorine (Chlorine DPD1 (R) Tablets)

Add 10ml of water to both test units and place one test unit to the left of the reference material as a blank reference. Add a DPD1 tablet to another testing unit, cover and shake until the tablet dissolves. Place the second testing unit to the right of the reference object. Allow a reaction time of 2 minutes. Compare two color regions under sunlight, and the reading is the content of mg/L chlorine.

Total chlorine and compound chlorine (and supplemental chlorine DPD3 tablets (R))

After completing the detection of free chlorine, remove the lid of the testing unit on the right and add a chlorine DPD3 tablet (R). Close the lid again and shake until the tablet dissolves. Place the test unit to the right of the reference object, allowing for a reaction time of 2 minutes. Then compare the two color areas under sunlight and read the chlorine content in mg/L.

Compound chlorine

Subtracting the free chlorine from the total chlorine is the compound chlorine.

For example, if the total chlorine is 1.2mg/L and the free chlorine in the laboratory is 0.42mg/L, then the combined chlorine is 0.78mg/L
