The METRACELL BT PRO lead-acid battery tester is a universal, portable, and multifunctional testing instrument used to evaluate and maintain battery systems and uninterruptible power supplies primarily based on lead-acid batteries.

Lead acid batteries account for over 75% of all rechargeable energy storage devices currently in use. Due to the need for high-capacity energy storage in certain situations, multiple single-cell battery modules are typically connected in series. However, as each individual cell battery module is connected in series, defective modules with high internal resistance will increase the charging voltage to adjacent modules, thereby shortening the service life of the entire battery string.
