instrumentb2bNorthwestern Polytechnical University purchases our DRPL-3B thermal conductivity tester

On May 7, 2024, the School of Materials Science and Technology at Northwestern Polytechnical University reached a contract with our company to purchase from usDRPL-3B thermal conductivity tester, used for testing the thermal conductivity performance of newly developed materials. This cooperation has been communicated between the two parties for a long time. Professor Hou from the School of Materials Science and Technology at Northwestern Polytechnical University led a team to conduct multiple discussions on the instrument parameters required for the project, and finally determined that the cold surface temperature requirement is -20 ℃, and the sample size remains unchanged for the time being. If there is a need for further customization in the future, our company has customized the instrument parameters according to Professor Hou's requirements to meet the customer's testing requirements. In the later stage, we will continue to track and provide installation, debugging, training, and after-sales support for the project to ensure customer satisfaction.

DRPL-3B Thermal Conductivity Tester (Protective Plate Heat Flow Meter Method) is our latest developed thermal conductivity tester, which has automatic pressurization and thickness measurement functions. It can be used for testing under different pressures and reduces manual measurement errors, adapting to the testing requirements of thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of various common materials. This instrument is based on the principle of steady-state flat plate method testing. A stable hot surface temperature is added to the hot surface, and heat is transferred to the cold surface through the sample. The transferred heat flux is measured, and the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance can be calculated based on the thickness and heat transfer area of the sample. This testing method is simple, fast, and has good repeatability. Very suitable for research and development in material heat transfer. Can be used for testing nylon, plastic, silicone rubber, graphite, insulation materials, etc.

Applicable standard: ASTM C518-04 Test Method for Determining Steady State Heat Flux and Heat Transfer Characteristics by Heat Flux Meter Method; GB10295-2008 Determination of Steady State Thermal Resistance and Related Characteristics of Thermal Insulation Materials (Heat Flow Meter Method) and Requirements for Determination of Thermal Conductivity in Appendix A of GB/T25261-2018 Reflective Thermal Insulation Coatings for Buildings.
