4Waterproof membrane thickness gaugeInstructions for Use

1. Startup and preparation

•Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the digital dial indicator;

•Check the battery level and replace the button battery if necessary;

•Confirm that the display screen is reset to zero. If it is not zero, press the ZERO key to reset it to zero.

2. Measurement steps

1.Lift the measuring head higher than the thickness of the sample;

2.Place the waterproof membrane sample flat at the center of the base;

3.Slowly lower the measuring head to allow the contact to naturally touch the surface of the sample, and generate standard pressure using its own weight;

4.After the reading stabilizes, record the thickness value;

5.Each sample can be measured multiple times at different locations, and the average value is taken as the final result.

3. Data recording

•If the dial gauge has a data interface, it can be connected to a computer for automatic collection;

•When manually recording, it should be accurate to two decimal places (0.01mm).

5Rubber thickness gaugePrecautions

1.Sample placement: It must be flat without creases to avoid affecting the reading.

2.Measurement head protection: Avoid collisions with hard objects and scratches on the surface of the measurement head.

3.Pressure control: No additional pressure should be artificially applied to avoid data bias.

4.Environmental conditions: Measurement results are best in a constant temperature and low humidity environment; If there is a large temperature difference in the environment, the sample and instrument should be placed for a period of time in advance to balance the temperature.

5.Storage and maintenance: When not in use for a long time, the battery should be removed to prevent leakage and damage to electronic components.

6.Regular calibration: It is recommended to perform measurement calibration every 12 months to ensure measurement accuracy.
