The TVT Visible Near Infrared (VIS-NIR) camera testing system is based on an adjustable intensity light source. Through an image projection module, some standard targets are projected onto the tested visible near infrared camera, which then generates distorted images. The corresponding performance parameters are analyzed and calculated by analyzing the collected images. The TVT testing system can simulate dark nights (cloudy nights) and particularly bright days (deserts at noon), accurately testing the performance of visible light near-infrared cameras under different lighting conditions.
The TVT visible light near-infrared (VIS-NIR) testing system mainly consists of the following components: DAL multi-channel calibration light source, CDT reflective light tube, a set of switchable refractive light tubes, a set of targets, rotating target wheel PC、 A set of image acquisition cards and testing/control software (DAL light source control software, SUB-V testing software, TAS-V testing software). The TVT testing system is recommended for testing visible light near-infrared cameras at medium to long distances.
Measurement functions: resolution, minimum distinguishable contrast MRC, MTF, distortion, field of view, sensitivity, signal-to-noise ratio, noise parameters (NEI, FPN, non-uniformity, 1/f noise, 3D noise), bad pixels and their distribution, response function (responsivity, linearity, dynamic range), color reproduction.
