Overview

The Inframet MTB surface source blackbody has excellent temperature resolution, time stability, high temperature uniformity, and excellent temperature accuracy. All these features make the MTB series blackbody an ideal choice for temperature standards in national or industrial laboratories.

Product Details

Key Features

High resolution temperature regulation (0.01 º C, superior to other blackbodies on the market, typically with a resolution of 0.1 º C);
Very good time stability (0.1 º C, better than other blackbodies available on the market, usually 0.5 º C);
Good temperature uniformity (1 º C @ 125 º C, while other blackbodies on the market typically have 3 º C @ 300x300mm);
All MTB blackbodies are controlled by PC using excellent temperature stabilization algorithms.

Overview

The MTB series blackbody is a precision surface source blackbody designed to simulate medium temperature targets. Use a thin surface heating element to control the temperature of the radiator. The absolute temperature of a blackbody radiator can be adjusted between approximately 50 degrees Celsius and 550 degrees Celsius. The emitter area can range from 50x50mm to 500x500mm, depending on the model.

application
MTB blackbody can be used for a range of possible applications:
1. Measure the accuracy of the thermal imager within the medium temperature range (using a known temperature surface source).
2. Monitoring System SWIR Imager
3. System for testing SWIR/MWIR FPAs

maximum temperature:
The typical maximum temperature is 550 ℃. If such a temperature is not required, the maximum temperature can be reduced to 350 ℃ and provide better thermal uniformity.
