The THP testing system consists of a terahertz blackbody with a large emission surface and a set of switchable target plates. The target plate is a non transparent metal plate with specific shaped holes. The tested camera can see the blackbody through the small hole and the blackbody radiation through the target shaped small hole. The background of the image generated by the tested system for the target plate that is radiated or reflected is protected by a protective cover around the target to avoid the influence of air disturbance and improve the uniformity of the simulated background.
