Swiss VAT-79.0- Ultra High Vacuum Beam Blocker
The main requirement for a beam blocker is a reliable stopping mechanism. The 79.0 beam blocker series provides reliable protection from energy radiation in ultra-high vacuum and high vacuum applications. The maximum beam power load of the stop mechanism with water-cooled copper plate is 6 kW when the beam diameter is greater than 60 mm, and 5 kW when the beam diameter is less than 60 mm. The specific maximum load is 25 W/mm ².
To meet the requirements of ultra-high vacuum and high vacuum, the 79.0 series has an integrated water-cooled guide rail, with no welds between the water supply and vacuum. Non cooled versions are also available.
The 79.0 series is pneumatic driven. The standard baking temperature for beam blockers is up to 250 ℃, and for drivers it is up to 80 ℃ (optional up to 200 ℃). The valve cover is sealed with metal, and the feed through component is sealed with welded metal bellows.
It has been proven that the 79.0 beam blocker series can provide reliable performance in all energy beam facilities under various process conditions, becoming the standard for beam blocking.
The DN of the 79.0 beam blocker series is 63-160 mm (2 189 '-6'). The valve body material is stainless steel. The standard flange connector is CF-F, and customer specified flanges can also be selected, as well as additional ports for roughing (bypass), exhaust, or metering.
The standard time before maintenance is 5000 switches. If needed, an enhanced version with 50000 switches can be provided
