The main requirements for quick closing valves are quick response and reliability in the event of air influx. The loss of ultra-high vacuum or high vacuum environment caused by leakage (especially large-scale losses such as accelerators or storage rings) may cause serious pollution problems and require efforts to restore the required vacuum level.
The 75.0 ultra-high vacuum quick closing valve series has a fast closing reaction when the pressure rises, which can protect the vacuum level. This series can close the vacuum line at an extremely fast speed within 10 milliseconds (depending on the valve diameter). After closing, the valve seal is less than E-9 mbar/s. Preventing damage is a matter of time, therefore, the 75.0 series sets standards for system protection.
The 75.0 series is a flap valve (DN 63-200) that uses pneumatic drive. The standard baking temperature for valve bodies is up to 200 ℃, and for drivers it is up to 50 ℃. The valve cover is sealed with metal, the gate seal is made of fluororubber, and the feedthrough is sealed with welded metal bellows.
The quick closing valve is controlled by an independent controller. The controller ensures rapid shutdown by regularly checking the system's readiness status, sensors, and their connections. The controller adopts modular design and can be configured for different valve/sensor arrangements. The status of the quick closing valve is also provided through this controller for remote output. Similarly, valves can also be remotely controlled through the interface of the controller.
It has been proven that the 75.0 ultra-high vacuum quick closing valve series can provide reliable performance in all accelerator and storage ring facilities under various process conditions, becoming the standard for reliable protection of ultra-high vacuum and high vacuum systems.
The valve body material of the 75.0 ultra-high vacuum quick closing valve series is stainless steel. The standard flange connector is CF-F, and customers can also choose to specify the flange.
The radiation resistance of this series of valve bodies is 108Gy, The radiation resistance of the gate seal is 105Gy(106Gy optional), the radiation resistance of the pneumatic drive is 104Gy。
The standard time for opening and closing before maintenance is 2000 times, which means that this valve series is actually maintenance free when used for its purpose.
