Single pole combined safety sliding contact busbar
Working Principle:The power supply safety sliding contact line device consists of two main components: a conduit and a sliding contact line conductor, as well as some auxiliary components, as shown in the figure:1. Sliding contact wire conduit: It is a semi enclosed shaped tubular component that is the main part of the safety sliding contact wire. It can be embedded with 2-9 guide rails as power supply wires as needed, and each guide rail is insulated from each other and from the outer shell to ensure the safety of power supply. And effectively prevent electric shock accidents for maintenance personnel during live maintenance. The length of each produced conduit is 6m, and it can be connected to any desired length. Generally, conduits are made in straight lines, but can also be made in circular arcs according to special requirements.
2. The sliding contact wire conductor is a set of brush housing frames that run inside the conduit. The sliding contact wire is driven by a fork (or traction chain, etc.) placed on the electrical mechanism (such as a crane, trolley, electric hoist, etc.) to synchronize with the motor, transmitting the electrical energy of the sliding contact wire brush through the guide rail to the motor or other control components. The number of poles of the conductive electric brush is 3-16, corresponding to the number of guide rails in the conduit.
Mobile devices need to constantly change positions due to their mobility, and at each different location, they must be able to obtain power at any time, otherwise they cannot continue to move. At this point, the sliding contact line emerged. Several conductors are laid in parallel along the operating track of the mobile device and connected to the power supply. Install a current collector on the mobile device that can draw electricity from the conductor. In this way, when the device moves, the collector runs synchronously with the device and obtains power from the conductor at any time to provide power to the device, so that the device can continue to move. The device composed of these conductors and current collectors is called a sliding contact wire.

Single pole combined safety sliding contact busbarPurpose:The power supply sliding contact line device can be used for electric hoists, electric beam and electric single beam bridge cranes; Stacker cranes, automatic inspection lines for electromechanical products, automated production lines, mobile electric tools and other mobile power receiving equipment, as well as fixed busbar trunking in factories, mines, workshops, and office spaces.
As a signal transmission product for mobile crane motors, electrical appliances, and electronic devices, it is a supporting product for various cranes. It can be used interchangeably with imported products and can also serve as a spare part for equipment. It is widely applicable to the transmission and distribution systems of all mobile cranes such as railway crossings, ports, freight yards, and cigarette manufacturing.
Before installing the sliding contact wire, first fix the angle steel bracket according to the installation form selected by the user, and fix it according to the suspension spacing of the sliding contact wire. At the installation site, put the required suspension seat and one joint sheath on each end of the sliding contact wire every 6 meters, and also install an aluminum joint on one end. When installing the aluminum joint, it should be noted that only half of the aluminum guide rail can be inserted into the joint for the connection of the other guide rail. After the above work is ready, hang the sliding contact wires one by one on the bracket for full line connection. When connecting, tighten the screws of each joint. When the total length of the sliding contact line exceeds 200 meters, an expansion device should be installed (the expansion device is supplied by our factory at any time). When connecting the power line into the line, it can be connected at the joint every 6 meters.
When installing the conductor, first install it on the matching square tube, choose the appropriate position to match the sliding contact wire and fix it on the electrical equipment. It should be noted that in order to ensure good tracking performance and contact ability between the conductor and the sliding contact wire, they should be installed in the same vertical and horizontal direction.
The working principle of this product is shown in the engineering application diagram (1). The starting end of the flat cable (connected to the on-site junction box) is fixed to the starting end holder of the guide roller, and then fixed to the four-wheel trolley carrying the cable at appropriate intervals (1-2.5mm) according to the allowable operating space on site. The end of the cable (connected to the power supply) is fixed to the last trolley (tractor). By using the spring on the trolley to move back and forth, and by dragging the cable (if the length exceeds 20m, the original traction rope should be considered to protect the cable from tension), all the trolleys are driven to slide freely at any speed in the rolling track. The guide rail is easy to install, does not require debugging, and has no contact point for power supply, making it safe and reliable.
The commonly used single pole H safety sliding contact wire has greatly improved protection level and insulation, making it safe and reliable.
In order to ensure the normal operation of the sliding contact line and extend its service life, regular maintenance should be carried out after the sliding contact line is put into operation.
1. Electric brush: It should be checked every 1-3 months according to the usage of mobile electrical equipment. Focus on checking the wear of the collector brush. If the wear amount is ≥ 5mm, it must be replaced. If loose or worn electric brushes are found during inspection, the cause should be identified and dealt with in a timely manner.
2. Collector: Check at least once every quarter. Focus on checking whether the fasteners are loose, displaced, and whether the plastic and moving parts are worn. Check the spring tension (the contact pressure between the collector brush and the guide rail should be maintained at a certain pressure (see the table below). Discover problems and handle them promptly.
3. Connectors: Check at least once a year. Focus on checking whether the fastening bolts, welds, and supporting components are loose, corroded, or displaced. If any problems are found, they should be dealt with in a timely manner.
4. Daily inspection: Focus on checking the flatness of the track for any significant deviation (greater than 20mm), misalignment, insulation protection components for detachment, breakage, or damage, and stainless steel 'v' grooves for any warping; Are there any foreign objects or conductive dust on the track. If necessary, the insulation resistance should be checked to ensure it meets the requirements (phase to phase insulation resistance should be ≥ 5M Ω).
Especially for environments with significant deviations in track alignment, gauge, inclination, frequent use, excessive workshop dust, high temperature, water, acid, alkali, fog, and outdoor use, it is necessary to strengthen daily inspection and maintenance.
