Shuttle Box SystemProduct Introduction
Automatic shuttle box system for measuring preference/avoidance of aquatic invertebrates or fish. Animals can freely shuttle between the two compartments of the shuttle cabin. In dynamic experiments, each compartment can have opposite controls, and animals "control" the level of water quality parameters (such as oxygen levels or temperature) by moving between each compartment. In static experiments, the water quality parameters of each compartment are constant and different, which is an ideal setting for exposure, avoidance, or selective testing.
In a dedicated experimental water tank, experimental animals can freely "shuttle" between two different water quality environments to determine their preferences, avoidance, exposure response, and environmental selection behavior towards temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, or acidity/alkalinity/carbon dioxide partial pressure.
This automation system is equipped with user-friendly proprietary software, USB interface detection equipment, and a complete set of accessories required for real-time video behavior analysis.
The core shuttle box system is equipped with ShuttleSoft 3 software - a fast and user-friendly real-time video tracking software for Windows 11/10. ShuttleSoft 3 allows for data collection and in-depth analysis, while providing simple control and hardware settings for water quality regulation.
