Feature Introduction

The system mainly includes a swimming pool, underwater monitoring sensors, and a real-time monitoring and analysis software system. This monitoring system can be used for on-site measurement of swimming ability of captured fish in the wild, including respiratory metabolism, behavioral characteristics, etc. After years of research and laboratory use, this system has stable and reliable performance, and can be used to measure the physiological functions, kinetic energy, behavior, biomechanics, and kinematics of swimming fish.

principle

The system can control the flow velocity of the fluid, making it convenient for researchers to test and study different flow fields of fish. And there is a flow velocity sensor probe that accurately records real-time flow velocity. Fiber optic dissolved oxygen sensors can simultaneously measure the oxygen content of water bodies. By connecting to a computer and supporting software, the oxygen consumption of fish can be calculated, and intuitive two-dimensional curve graphs can be drawn for easy experimental results.

The photography system can record the behavior of fish and draw activity curves through software, which can more reasonably study the behavioral characteristics of fish under changing flow fields.
