The Core Resting Respirometry System is from Loligo, Denmark ® A research grade respiratory measurement system developed by Systems for fully automated measurement of resting oxygen consumption rate (O ₂ consumption rate) in aquatic organisms (fish, invertebrates, etc.). The system was jointly developed by the University of Copenhagen and Aalborg University in Denmark and can be used to measure the oxygen consumption of fish, aquatic invertebrates, fish eggs and their embryos, and even plankton.
The system adopts the "intermittent" breathing measurement method, combining the advantages of "open" and "closed" measurement methods, and can achieve long-term continuous measurement with high time resolution. The system configuration includes a multi-channel fluorescent fiber optic oxygen measurement host, static or dynamic breathing chambers, submersible pumps AutoResp ™ Components such as automatic control and analysis software are used for studying the standard/routine metabolic rates of fish and invertebrates of various sizes. Oxygen consumption of small organisms

Oxygen consumption of large organisms
