Overview

RSR diabetes antibody ELISA test kit is used to detect the presence of glutamic acid decarboxylase antibody (GADAb), islet cell antigen 2 antibody (IA-2 Ab) and zinc transporter 8 antibody in the serum of autoimmune diabetes patients, and is suitable for diagnosis and prediction of type I diabetes.

Diabetes Autoimmune Antibody 3 Screen ELISA Kit
Diabetes auto antibody detection -3 Screen ICAIt is suitable for diagnosis and prediction of type I diabetes. Islet cell autoantibodies become the landmark antibodies of type I diabetes by recognizing insulin, glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD), islet cell antigen 2 (IA-2) and zinc transporter 8 (ZnT8). The feature of this kit is that it can simultaneously detect GAD and IA-2 autoantibodies in serum, with a positive detection rate similar to that of islet cell antibodies (ICA) detected by immunofluorescence method. When screening a large number of samples, using this kit is more economical and convenient than immunofluorescence method. Its testing results are reliable, suitable for use in clinical laboratories at all levels of hospitals, and can be used in conjunction with automated testing systems.
Diabetes auto immune antibody detection -3 Screen ICA detection principle:
The detection principle of RSR's pancreatic islet cell autoantibody triple ELISA kit is based on the Y-shaped structure shared by GAD65, IA-2, and ZnT8, three types of pancreatic islet cell autoantibodies. One side binds to the GAD65, IA-2, and ZnT8 co antigen encapsulated in a microplate, while the other side binds to the biotinylated co antigen, forming a bridge structure. The combined concentration of biotin labeled antigen and three antibodies in the sample serum, calibration sample, and quality control sample *. Due to the specific binding of biotin to streptavidin peroxidase (SA-POD) and the color reaction between peroxidase and its substrate (TMB), the absorbance values were read at wavelengths of 450nm and 405nm, respectively, to calculate the comprehensive content of GAD65, IA-2, and ZnT8 pancreatic islet cell autoantibodies. The higher the absorbance value, the higher the comprehensive concentration of the three types of pancreatic islet cell autoantibodies. The detection range is 5-2000u/mL (RSR concentration unit).
  Characteristics:
According to the 2012 diabetes related antibody standardization test validation (IASP 2012), the sensitivity of this kit is 82%, the specificity is 100%, and the critical value is 4 U/mL (NIBSC 97/550).
Sample requirement: 50 microliters of human serum, avoid using lipid blood, hemolysis, and plasma samples.
Component characteristics: 96 well plate, liquid and freeze-dried powder
