The RSR glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibody ELISA kit is a solid-phase sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). A standard sample with a known concentration of the test substance and a sample with an unknown concentration are added to a microporous ELISA plate for detection. RSR Glutamate Decarboxylase Autoantibody ELISA Kit

GADAb kit and RSR GADAb ELISA kit are used for quantitative detection of glutamic acid decarboxylase autoantibody (GADAb) in human serum, for diagnosis and prediction of type I diabetes, and also as diagnostic indicators for some neuroimmune diseases, including stiff person syndrome. Islet cell autoantibodies become the landmark antibodies of type I diabetes by recognizing insulin, glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD), islet cell antigen 2 (IA-2) and zinc transporter 8 (ZnT8). This enzyme test free kit has higher sensitivity and specificity than our GADAb radio test free kit, and has achieved excellent results in previous diabetes related antibody standardization tests (DASP, IASP). Its testing results are reliable, suitable for use in clinical laboratories at all levels of hospitals, and can be used in conjunction with automated testing systems.

GADAb kit can be used together with other islet cell autoantibody detection kits of the company, including IA-2 Ab and ZnT8 Ab enzyme immunoassay kit, to improve the sensitivity and specificity of type I diabetes diagnosis.
