This product is a bagged ready to use culture medium newly launched by Haibo. It is a sterilized finished culture medium that can be directly used for preparing plates after being heated in a water bath.
Compared to dry powder culture medium, it eliminates the tedious preparation processes such as weighing, dissolution, and sterilization, and is more convenient and efficient to use;
Compared to ready to use flat culture media, it has the advantages of simple packaging, easy transportation, low pollution, and low cost.
Purpose:Used for counting mold and yeast.

Inspection principle:
Soaking potatoes in flour helps promote the growth of various fungi; Glucose provides energy; Agar is a coagulant for culture media.
Storage conditions and expiration date
1.2-25℃ 保存。
2. This product is valid for six months under storage conditions.
Usage:
Step 1 [Re solution Heating]:Immerse the unopened HBBD culture medium (retaining the outer packaging bag) in a 100 ℃ boiling water bath.
Heating method:
Recommended to useInduction cooker+stainless steel pot/stainless steel bucketWait for the container (add water until the bag is fully submerged).Or use a laboratory water bath (note slow heating, it is recommended to preheat in advance)

Step 2 [Dissolve]:After heating continuously for 20-30 minutes, gently shake the bag to confirm that the culture medium is completely dissolved (uniform liquid without clots).
Step 3 [Cooling]:Take out the bag and let it cool naturally to 45 ℃~50 ℃ (slightly hot to the touch but not too hot).
Step 4 :In a sterile environment, tear open the outer packaging, unscrew the bottle cap, slowly pour the culture medium into a sterile petri dish, let it stand and solidify before use.
Notes:
If there is pollution, damage, discoloration, leakage, etc., it cannot be used.
During the water bath heating process, there is no need to open the outer packaging. It is normal for a small amount of gas inside the product to expand when heated.
3. After use, the culture medium should be disinfected.
4. The usage method of this product is not mandatory. If the user has specific reference materials, corresponding adjustments can be made.
If the bacterial content of the tested sample is low, there is no need to add chlortetracycline to the culture medium; If the bacterial content of the tested sample is high, 100mg of filtered and sterilized chloramphenicol should be added to each liter of culture medium before pouring onto the plate.
