Inspection principle:

Casein peptone and soy peptone provide the carbon source, nitrogen source, and growth factors required for bacterial growth; Glucose is a fermentable sugar; Sodium chloride maintains the equilibrium osmotic pressure of the culture medium; Potassium dihydrogen phosphate as a pH buffer for the culture medium; Egg lipid and Tween 80 can neutralize preservatives and disperse substances in emulsions. Egg lipid can neutralize quaternary ammonium salts, Tween 80 can neutralize phenols, hexachlorophenols, and formalin, and the combination of the two can neutralize ethanol; Polymyxin suB mainly inhibits the growth of most Gram negative bacteria.

Usage:

Weigh 31.0g of this product and 7.0g of Tween-80, heat and dissolve in 1000ml of distilled water, divide into small packages, sterilize at 121 ℃ for 20 minutes, cool, and before use, add 25000U of filtered and sterilized polymyxa suB per 100ml of culture medium, mix well, and set aside.
