Multi channel current module GL-IV seriesIntroduction:
GL-IV current testing module, specially designed for low current high-precision testing, supports multi range coverage, with a resolution of up to 1 μ A and stable measurement accuracy of ≤± 1%. In 48V system sleep current testing, it can clearly capture microampere level weak current fluctuations and accurately locate ECU standby power consumption abnormalities, easily meeting the testing requirements of LV124, LV148 and other vehicle specifications. It is compatible with GL260 A-CN, GL860 A series, GL2000, GL980 and GL7000, GL240, GL840-M, GL840-WV. It can achieve millisecond level high-speed sampling, store data continuously for a long time, and can easily handle real vehicle road tests and bench aging tests.
The product is divided into three series:
GL-IV: Multi channel current module (expandable up to 32 channels)
GL-IV-S: Portable multi-channel current module.
GL-IV-C: Wide range multi-channel current module.

From the above comparison, it can be seen that the GL-IV module can still maintain reading accuracy within 1% when measuring 1mA current, and even when the current is large, the voltage drop is controlled within a small range. In contrast, although the traditional resistance measurement method maintains an error of around 1% -2% throughout the entire testing range, it still has significant shortcomings due to factors such as resistance error and temperature drift. For example, when measuring high currents, the voltage drop across the resistor will significantly increase, which may cause the device under test (DUT) to malfunction. If a sampling resistor with a smaller resistance value is chosen to reduce the voltage drop, although it can maintain a certain measurement accuracy at the current value, as the working current decreases, the output analog voltage value at both ends of the resistor also decreases, and may even be lower than the noise level. This will lead to an increase in measurement errors, seriously affecting the accuracy and stability of measurement data, and is not conducive to long-term reliable data collection.
8. portableThe portable module has a volume of only 120 * 40 * 190mm, with an area similar to a 6.1-inch mobile phone and a weight of approximately 900g.
