The TFEV thermometer testing system is used to detect fever screening thermometers. The concept of TFEV testing is based on the special requirements for the basic safety and basic performance of human fever screening thermometers specified in the IEC 80601-2-59 standard.


TFEV is a modular system that can operate in two modes: A) high-precision blackbody with manually adjustable size B) electric image projection system that can project images of reference targets with variable temperature and size. Blackbody is a simulation of different parts of the human body (usually the inner corner of the eye or forehead) used to test thermal cameras. The blackbody is usually placed on the plane where the human body is being measured, and the external blackbody of the thermometer (part of the measured system) should also be on this plane in actual operation.
