From a structural perspective, the test chamber mainly consists of three key parts: a high temperature chamber, a low temperature chamber, and a testing area, which are connected to each other through specially designed air ducts and valves. The high-temperature chamber is equipped with an efficient heating system, usually using electric heating wires and other methods. When current passes through the heating wires, electrical energy is converted into heat energy, causing the air temperature inside the high-temperature chamber to rapidly rise, thus creating a set high-temperature environment. The low-temperature chamber relies on a powerful refrigeration system, commonly a compressor refrigeration, which uses refrigerant to circulate in components such as evaporators and condensers. Through a series of processes such as compression, condensation, throttling, and evaporation, it absorbs heat from the air inside the low-temperature chamber, thereby achieving the required low-temperature conditions.

During the work process, the testing area is the core area for placing samples. When starting the test, the valve will first switch according to the set program. For example, to conduct an impact test from high temperature to low temperature, the valve will open the channel between the high temperature chamber and the testing area. High temperature air will quickly flow into the testing area under the action of the fan, causing the temperature in the testing area to rise sharply to the high temperature setting value in a short period of time and maintain it for a certain period of time, allowing the sample to fully withstand the test of high temperature environment. Afterwards, the valve closes the high-temperature chamber channel and opens the connection channel between the low-temperature chamber and the testing area. Low temperature air is rapidly injected into the testing area under the same fan circulation power, causing the temperature in the testing area to quickly drop to the low-temperature set value, thus completing a cold and hot shock cycle.
