The CMS-6000 Fixed Source Volatile Organic Gas Online Monitoring System is a data collection system for environmental monitoring of volatile organic compound emissions. It provides real-time monitoring of waste gas emissions and the operation of environmental protection facilities generated by factories, mines, enterprises, and other units, thereby providing an effective means for environmental monitoring and management departments to centrally manage these emission points. The environmental monitoring information center communicates with pollution source monitoring points through a network, with multiple network options available (such as the Internet, wireless transmission, fiber optic private network, etc.).
The CMS-6000 fixed source volatile organic gas online monitoring system consists of modules such as a simple flue gas sampler, imported PID online monitoring equipment, wind speed transmitter, analysis cabinet pretreatment system, gas analysis detector, data acquisition and processing, and data transmission.
Using a vacuum ultraviolet lamp to generate ultraviolet light, gas molecules are bombarded in an ionization chamber to ionize and break down organic molecules contained in the gas into positively charged ions and negatively charged electrons. Under the action of the electric field on the electrode plate, the ions and electrons collide with the electrode plate, forming weak current signals. These current signals are processed by circuits and data acquisition, and finally converted into displayed concentration values and other parameters. The following figure is a schematic diagram of PID photoionization detection technology.

Equipment pictures (for reference only, subject to the actual product)
The system consists of a sampling unit, a preprocessing unit, and an analysis unit.
Sampling unit: composed of sampling pipeline and blowback system, etc.
Preprocessing unit: composed of fine filters, sampling pumps, and flow meters.
Analysis Unit: Adopting PID photoionization gas detection alarm, high accuracy, good reliability, and low maintenance cost.
The sample gas is taken out by the sampling probe under the pumping force of the sampling pump. The vast majority of particulate matter in the sample gas is filtered out by the filter in the sampling probe, and then transported by the heat tracing pipeline to the refrigeration system for condensation and water removal, and sent to the analysis unit for analysis. The condensed water is discharged through the drainage system. The control unit implements functions such as blowback, calibration, refrigeration temperature alarm prompt, and displays various working states of the system.
In the preprocessing system, a first stage rapid condensation is used to remove water, ensuring that the gas composition remains unchanged. Adopting secondary fine filtration ensures that the gas measurement chamber is not contaminated, thereby improving the service life of the analyzer. The following figure is the flowchart of the gaseous pollutant monitoring system.
The preprocessing system consists of:
Sampling unit (probe, filter);
Preprocessing unit (sampling pump, dehumidification, fine filtration, drainage, etc.);
Analysis unit (VOCs);
Signal output (VOCs concentration, calibration status, fault status, etc.);
Other (gas path, circuit, etc.);
Analytical instrument cabinet: customized
Instrument: VOCs gas analyzer
Measurement principle: PID photoionization detection principle
Measuring principle
PID uses a ultraviolet (UV) light source to ionize organic molecules into positive and negative ions that can be detected by a detector (ionization). The detector captures the positive and negative charges of ionized gas and converts them into electrical signals to measure gas concentration. When the gas being tested absorbs high-energy ultraviolet light, the gas molecules temporarily lose electrons and become positively charged ions due to the excitation of ultraviolet light. After being detected on the electrode of the detector, gas ions quickly combine with electrons to recombine into the original gas and vapor molecules. PID is a non-destructive detector that does not alter the molecules of the gas being tested, and the gas detected by PID can still be collected for further measurement.
