Balance and furnace body

The core components of THEMYS ONE are an advanced metal furnace body and an upper sample constant temperature balance using a suspension wire crossbeam structure. The upper plate balance (upper sample loading) is based on the same principle as other symmetrical balances, while controlling the temperature to provide higher stability. The design of intersecting gas outlets above the furnace body can be easily combined with gas analysis instruments. The operation of replacing different test brackets (DTA, DSC, TGA, 3D Cp) can be completed within a few seconds. When only conducting DTA, DSC, or Cp testing experiments, the balance beam can be locked to ensure high accuracy of the test data.

Atmosphere control components

THEMYS ONE itself has gas purging function (inert or reactive gas). Configure a fully automatic gas control panel to achieve the following functions:

Three different carrier gases are available (flow rate: 4-200ml/min)

Mixing of carrier gas with another auxiliary gas or reaction gas (flow rate: 0.3-16ml/min, optional flow rate: 4-200ml/min)

Sensor type:

Different sensors are designed for DSC/DTA, TGA, and synchronous TGA-DSC/DTA testing experiments:

DTASensor:Equipped with platinum (room temperature to 1200 ° C) and platinum rhodium (room temperature to 1600 ° C) material thermal sensors, available in 20 µ l, 100 µ l, or 160 µ l platinum, alumina, or platinum crucibles.

DSCSensor:Equipped with a thermal flow DSC sensor made of nickel chromium constantan (room temperature to 800 ° C) and platinum rhodium (room temperature to 1600 ° C) materials. 75 µ l, 100 µ l, or 110 µ l platinum, alumina, and platinum crucibles can be selected.

TGASensor:Room temperature to 1600 ° C, optional 400 µ l or 500 µ l alumina, platinum crucible.

Automatic sampler:

THEMYS ONE+'s automatic sampler can load 32 samples at once and automatically recognize DTA, DSC, TGA sensors and crucible types with plug and play interfaces, providing you with the most intelligent and user-friendly system.

3DHigh sensitivity specific heat capacity (Cp) sensor

The sensitivity of sensors and the heating rate of the heating furnace are key factors in improving the accuracy of specific heat capacity measurement. THEMYS ONE's 380 µ l crucible (a conventional DSC crucible with a volume much larger than 100 µ l) and ultra-high sensitivity sensor (3D structural design) have excellent performance in rapid heating/cooling (100 ° C/min), ensuring that the measurement error of Cp is within 2% throughout the entire working temperature range (room temperature to 1600 ° C).

The three-dimensional Calvian specific heat capacity (Cp) test sensor consists of 10 pairs of thermocouples arranged in an orderly manner around the sample. The 3D specific heat sensor uses multiple thermocouples to surround a large volume crucible (380 μ l) for more accurate high-temperature calorimetry measurements.

Combined analysis of escaping gases
