Electric stainless steel globe valveDuring installation, the medium can enter from below or above the valve core in two ways. The advantage of the medium entering from below the valve core is that when the valve is closed, the packing is not under pressure, which can extend the service life of the packing and allow for replacement of the packing when the pipeline in front of the valve is under pressure. The disadvantage of medium entering from below the valve core is that the driving torque of the valve is relatively large, about 1.05-1.08 times that of entering from above, and the axial force on the valve stem is large, making the valve stem prone to bending. For this reason, the method of medium entering from below is generally only suitable for small caliber manual shut-off valves, with a limit of no more than 350kg of force exerted by the medium on the valve core when the valve is closed. Electric globe valves generally use the method of medium entering from above. The disadvantage of entering the medium from above is exactly the opposite of entering from below.

The sealing surface of a globe valve must be forcibly closed to achieve sealing. Under the same diameter, working pressure, and driving device, the driving torque of a globe valve is 2.5 to 3.5 times that of a gate valve. This should be taken into account when adjusting the torque control mechanism of electric valves.

Electric stainless steel globe valveThe sealing surface of the valve is only in contact with each other when it is closed, and the relative slip between the forcibly closed valve core and the sealing surface is very small, so the wear of the sealing surface is also very small. The wear of the sealing surface of the globe valve is mostly caused by impurities in front of the valve core and sealing surface, or by the lack of tightness in the closed state, resulting in high-speed flushing of the medium.

Compared with gate valves, globe valves have the advantages of simple structure, good sealing performance, and easy manufacturing and maintenance; The disadvantage is that the liquid resistance is high, and the opening and closing force is large. The opening and closing component is a plug shaped valve disc with a flat or conical sealing surface, and the valve disc moves in a straight line along the centerline of the fluid. The movement form of the valve stem includes a lifting rod type (the valve stem is lifted and lowered without the handwheel lifting), as well as a lifting rotating rod type (the handwheel rotates and lifts together with the valve stem, and the nut is set on the valve body). Globe valves are only suitable for fully open and fully closed, and are not allowed to be adjusted or throttled.

The opening and closing component is a plug shaped valve disc, with a flat or conical surface on the sealing surface. The valve disc moves in a straight line along the centerline of the valve seat. The movement form of valve stem, commonly known as concealed stem, can also be used to control the flow of various types of fluids such as air, water, steam, various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal, and radioactive media through lifting and rotating stem. Therefore, this type of shut-off valve is very suitable for use as a cut-off, regulating, and throttling valve. A globe valve refers to a valve in which the closing element (valve disc) moves along the centerline of the valve seat. 2、 Connection steps between electric actuator and valve:

3、 Safety inspection of electric actuator:

Gate valves and stainless steel globe valves are fully open and fully closed valves, used for cutting off or connecting media, and should not be used as regulating valves. The application scope of globe valves and gate valves is determined by their characteristics.
