Dual capacitance current meterWorking principle:
Velocity measurement is used to determine the velocity of solid particles falling freely in pneumatic conveying or pipelines. After being integrated into the control scheme, this measurement value can be used, for example, to reduce product wear or decrease the amount of gas transported.
When combined with concentration measurement, mass flow rate can be determined.
The measurement principle is based on the detection of solid particles, and stationary solids will not be detected. Particles will be detected at the designated distance between two sensors, and the running time will be determined through relevant calculations to obtain the velocity (unit: meter/second). Since this is a time measurement, no calibration is required. The device will automatically adapt to different product characteristics without the need for manual adjustment.

For high flow measurement, a simple method is provided, which can integrate concentration measurement through analog input or serial interface, and then an additional software module calculates the flow rate based on the current velocity and concentration values. In addition to the measured values, the cumulative mass of solid materials can also be displayed on the display screen.
