The reagent kit is used to detect Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (APP) antibodies in pig serum. The principle of the reagent kit is based on the indirect ELISA method. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plate has already been coated with various serological mixed protein antigens of recombinant APP. After adding the sample, the antibodies in the sample can specifically bind to the coated antigens on the plate to form antigen antibody complexes, which then bind to the enzyme-linked secondary antibody added later. The enzyme on the secondary antibody catalyzes the color development of the substrate, and the color development depth is positively correlated with the antibody content in the sample.
