Product UsageUsed for isolation and preliminary identification of Candida.
Inspection principle:Yeast extract provides growth factors, nitrogen sources, and carbon sources; Glucose provides a carbon source; Glycine can inhibit the growth of some bacteria; Ammonium bismuth citrate can react with sulfite to produce bismuth sulfite, which has an inhibitory effect on the growth of most bacteria. Candida can grow on this medium and reduce sulfite to sulfide, giving the colony a brown to black appearance.

Usage:Weigh 44.0g of this product, add 1L of distilled water or deionized water, stir and heat to boil, do not boil for more than 1 minute, cool to 45-50 ℃, pour into a sterile petri dish, and set aside. (Note: High pressure sterilization is not required.)
