1. Overview

　　ARD3M Intelligent Motor Protector for Coal Mine Metallurgy and Paper Manufacturing(hereinafter referred to as protector) is suitable for low-voltage motor circuits with rated voltage up to 660V, integrating protection, measurement, control, communication, and operation and maintenance. Its * protection function ensures the safe operation of the motor, with programmable logic function that can meet multiple control modes. Different communication modules can be selected to meet on-site communication needs. This product adopts a split structure, consisting of a main body, display unit, transformer, and optional communication module, which can adapt to the installation of various cabinets.ARD3M Intelligent Motor Protector for Coal Mine Metallurgy and Paper Manufacturing

2. Product Features

The auxiliary power supply type is optional. The AC220V power module supports a power range of AC85-265V/DC100-300V, and the AC380V power module supports a power range of AC/DC100-415V.

Support measurement of fundamental and full wave power parameters (U, I, P, Q, S, PF, F, EP, EQ), voltage and current imbalance, positive, negative, and zero sequence components of voltage and current, three-phase voltage phase angle, residual current, 2-63rd harmonic measurement of voltage and current, harmonic content and total harmonic distortion rate.

The protection functions include overload inverse time limit, overload definite time limit, grounding, starting timeout, leakage, underload, phase failure, locked rotor, blocking, short circuit, overflow, imbalance (current, voltage), overpower, underpower, overvoltage, undervoltage, phase sequence, temperature, tE time, external fault, starting frequency limit, running time alarm, fault frequency alarm.

10 programmable DI inputs, default to built-in DC24V power supply, can also choose external active wet contacts (see selection table for details).

6 programmable DO outputs, suitable for direct starting, star delta starting, autotransformer starting, and other starting methods. The main station can remotely control the start/stop of the motor through the communication bus.

■ Optional anti shaking function: supports immediate restart after shaking and restart after voltage loss.

Standard configuration includes 2 channels of MODBUS-RTU communication, with optional PROFIBUS DPV1, Ethernet, and PROFINET communication modules available.

Optional 2-channel DC4-20mA analog output interface, connected to DCS system, can achieve monitoring of on-site equipment.

It has various event records such as fault records, start records, stop records, DI displacement records, and restart records, and can view multiple motor operation and maintenance information. At the same time, it can record motor operation records for 1-5 hours.

The display interface supports Chinese/English display.

Supports exporting waveform and event record data from a USB flash drive, and event record files can be opened and exported using EXCEL.

When selecting a color LCD display, WIFI function can be added to view and set motor protector related data by connecting to the WIFI through a mobile phone or computer.

3. Model Description

The standard switch quantity of ARD3M is 10DI and 6DO, and the switch types are shown in Table 1:

(1) For motors with a rated current range of 0.4A-1.0A, you can choose

(2) The default auxiliary power supply is AC 220V. If an AC 380V auxiliary power supply is required, please communicate with the manufacturer and note the corresponding parameters when placing an order.

(3) A unified current transformer is used for current specifications of 100A and below. The transformer is equipped with a secondary wire of about 1m, with lengths of 3m and 5m available for additional selection. The 250A and 800A current specifications use two other types of transformers, which do not have secondary wires. The external dimensions of the transformer are detailed in the "External Dimensions and Installation" section.

(4) The standard display connection cable is a 1.5m Ethernet cable, with 3-meter and 5-meter specifications available for additional selection. Please note the corresponding cable length when placing an order, and the default length will be used if not specified.

(5) For customers who do not require display modules, a batch of optional display modules can be used as programmers, or configuration software provided by the manufacturer can be used to configure parameters through computer software.

(6) Temperature measurement supports sensor types of PTC or NTC.

(7) After selecting the leakage function (L), each protector is equipped with a leakage transformer. The size of the leakage transformer is detailed in the "External Dimensions and Installation" section. The leakage current transformer is equipped with a 2m ± 10cm secondary wire as standard. If other lengths are required, please contact the manufacturer.
