1、 Layered:

Layering is the process of separating mixed ion exchange resins that have already become saturated, failed (or not regenerated), and are still in a mixed state for regeneration. Usually, backwashing is used. Before stratification, 5% NaOH with a flow rate of 1 to 2 times the resin volume can be introduced into the bed from bottom to top, and then backwashed. The backwash flow rate is about 4-10m/h and the time is about 20 minutes.

2、 Acid base pairing:

According to the requirement of 4 times the volume of resin in the bed, prepare 5% concentration HCl and 5% concentration NaOH for regeneration.

3、 Synchronous transformation:

Synchronous transformation refers to the simultaneous transformation of M+type cation exchange resin and R-type anion exchange resin that have already saturated and failed into H+type cation exchange resin and OH - type anion exchange resin, restoring their ion exchange function. During synchronous transformation, introduce 3-4 times the volume of 5% concentration NaOH into the R-type anion exchange resin in the upper half of the mixed bed, and 3-4 times the volume of 5% concentration HCl into the M+type cation exchange resin in the lower half of the mixed bed. The synchronous transformation time is about 60 minutes. The key point is to adjust the middle drain valve and control the flow rate of the discharged water. The liquid level must always be maintained at the middle of the sight glass, about 5cm above the surface of the anion exchange resin.

4、 Synchronous displacement flushing:

After the synchronous transformation is completed, reverse osmosis fresh water is used to continue slowly injecting water into the mixed bed from top to bottom, replacing and flushing the anion and cation exchange resins to prolong the chemical reaction time and save the amount of chemical regenerant. The synchronous replacement flushing time is about 20 minutes.

5、 Synchronous flushing:

After the replacement flushing is completed, switch to synchronous flushing to wash away excess regenerant. Continue to inject water into the mixed bed synchronously from top to bottom using reverse osmosis fresh water to flush the anion and cation exchange resins. The conductivity of the effluent from the middle discharge pipe is lower than that of the mixed bed inlet, and the pH of the effluent from the middle discharge pipe is close to neutral. The synchronous flushing time is about 20 minutes.

6、 Air jet mixing:

After synchronous flushing is completed, switch to air flushing mixing. When air is mixed, nitrogen or oil-free compressed air is introduced from the lower part of the mixed bed to stir the anion and cation exchange resins inside the mixed bed and mix them. The air mixing time is about 15 minutes.

7、 Water injection:

After the air mixture is complete, quickly add water ^ fen ^ and open the exhaust valve to exhaust until the exhaust valve releases water. Drain for 1 minute and close the exhaust valve.

8、 Rinsing:

Water injection completed, switch to rinsing. The rinsing state is similar to the working state, except that during rinsing, if the effluent resistivity of the mixed bed is less than the rated value, it needs to be discharged. The rinsing time is about 30 minutes.

9、 Work:

After rinsing, the mixed bed is put into operation or standby.
