  • AI assisted selection tools can annotate the structures you are interested in faster and more accurately

  • The optimized segmentation technology based on artificial intelligence, with a new dynamic enhancement program, has reduced training time by 85%.

  • Provides a modern data chart library report workspace for comprehensive data visualization.

  • Additional features: Cellpose SAM is used to achieve robust and universal segmentation across different modalities, as well as AI based object classification for automatic classification and analysis.

Advanced 3D rendering

Presenting complex scenes with realistic lighting effects and clear prominent elements is a challenging task. Traditional rendering methods often flatten details, make lighting appear monotonous, and make it difficult to guide people's attention to the most important parts of the data. In the latest version, Amira Avizo offers new 3D rendering settings that bring stunning and informative visual effects. It introduces enhanced rendering techniques, wider and more precise lighting control, and precise focusing tools, allowing you to direct attention to specific data areas by adjusting the depth of field and selecting the exact focus content.

Enhanced AI empowered image segmentation

Researchers in the fields of life sciences and materials science are constantly pursuing higher imaging resolutions because many key features exist at the nanoscale, where subtle differences determine functionality, performance, and reliability. Clearer images can transform blurry shapes into measurable and quantitative data, revealing the mechanisms behind protein interactions, membrane organization, grain boundary behavior, and defect dynamics. With the increase of imaging details, image analysis must also be improved accordingly. In the latest version, Amira Avizo software implements 2.5D segmentation, maintaining structural continuity by providing more reliable image interpretation than 2D segmentation. These innovative models provide 3D environments with depth perception without requiring a large amount of image resources.

With the assistance of artificial intelligence in selection,

Significant improvement in annotation speed

In order to achieve high-quality segmentation and 3D reconstruction, scientists must accurately label the structures of interest. If manual tools are used for annotation, it may consume a lot of time and be very cumbersome. The latest version of Amira Avizo software introduces a new artificial intelligence assisted selection tool that can accelerate annotation speed, thereby achieving faster conversion from raw data to results.

Efficiency improvement of AI enabled tools

And seamless smoothness in use

Building powerful segmentation models using fixed, non adaptive algorithms is quite challenging. The static enhancement method generates the same number of image cuts regardless of the content, which leads to a rigid workflow, slowing down the experimental process and affecting the experimental results. In this update, we have introduced a dynamic process that can adjust based on the region of interest you define and generate the optimal number of enhanced image blocks. By using only 15% of the training time, a model with considerable quality and performance can be trained, resulting in significant time savings. The new AI features have been implemented, including performing common model management tasks, viewing the training process in TensorBoard, evaluating models, visualizing prediction results on each region of interest, and viewing segmentation metrics.
