The customized cross plate shearing instrument from China University of Geosciences has completed training and acceptance

In June 2019, a client from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) visited the factory of Suzhou Tuoce Instrument Equipment Co., Ltd. to inspect and exchange information on the customized cross plate shear tester.

The overall idea and requirements of this cross plate instrument were proposed by a major customer, and Suzhou Tuoce specifically designed and manufactured it. Mainly used for testing the shear strength of soft soil inside the model box, the cross plate head can penetrate the soil to a depth of up to 1.8 meters, and shear tests can be conducted at the position, with real-time display of the depth of penetration. The cross plate transmission rod adopts multi-stage connection, and the external of the transmission rod is equipped with a sleeve, which can effectively reduce the influence of friction generated by the transmission rod on the test.

Firstly, the engineer introduced the composition of the instrument and its software and hardware characteristics, with a focus on the multi-stage design scheme of the transmission rod and the installation and sealing of the casing. Subsequently, the engineer conducted experimental operations and software operation explanations, and the customer carried out practical operations hands-on.

After the training acceptance was completed, the client visited our open laboratory and had extensive communication, expressing their further wishes.
