Hefei University of Technology TT-AP4 Four way Variable Head Permeation Automatic Measuring Instrument Completed Debugging Training

On December 11, 2019, engineers from Suzhou Tuoce Instrument conducted installation, commissioning, and technical training on the TT-AP4 quadruple variable head permeability automatic measuring instrument purchased by Hefei University of Technology. The acceptance work has been completed. During this period, our engineers provided detailed explanations and training on the principles, structural composition, and instrument functions of the equipment. In order to help users of Hefei University of Technology better understand the equipment, our engineers also conducted on-site experimental operation drills, which complemented the previous explanation and training to provide a more thorough explanation of the usage of the equipment. TT-AP4 quadruple variable head automatic permeameter
1、 Overview:
The quadruple variable head automatic permeameter is an indoor geotechnical testing instrument used to determine the permeability coefficient of soil. Due to the low permeability coefficient of cohesive soil, it usually takes several hours or tens of hours to complete a test. Currently, the vast majority of domestic units use manual reading, recording, and calculation methods, which are generally considered time-consuming, labor-intensive, and have many human factors, resulting in low work efficiency.
This instrument is designed with intelligence based on the principle of permeability that satisfies Darcy's law, and the construction of the instrument has been improved and enhanced. It uses a computer to automatically collect and process data without the need for manual readings, reducing human errors, improving work efficiency and experimental accuracy, and greatly liberating labor productivity.

2、 Functional purpose:
The quadruple variable head automatic permeameter is applicable to loess, silty clay, clay, and environmental soil, and is widely used in engineering survey and design institutes, soil mechanics laboratories of higher education institutions, geotechnical laboratories, etc. in China.

3、 Technical parameters:
1. The diameter of the soil sample is 61.8mm, which means the soil sample area is 30cm2
2. The height of the soil sample is 40mm, which is the seepage diameter distance.
3. The cross-sectional area of the variable head organic glass tube is 0.785 cm2, with a standard starting head of 1000mm.
4. The maximum range of the liquid level sensor is 2000mm water column, the minimum resolution is 1mm, and the accuracy error is 0.3% of the full range.

4、 Main configuration:
1. Permeation container: including container, ring knife, sealing O-ring, sealing stop water pressure tightening ring, positioning bolt and pressure screw, upper and lower permeable stone, guide ring and pressure transmission piston
2. The base of the permeameter has a three-way two position ball valve, a three-way quick twist joint, and related pipelines, as well as a hand twist reaction device added above the permeameter container to prevent particle loss of the sample
3. Water supply tank: The largest capacity is about 6000cm3
4. The water level measuring pressure plate consists of four sets of organic glass water level tubes
5. The full range of the liquid level sensor is 2000mm water column
6. Four channel digital display and data acquisition device with 485 transmission line
7. One set of collection and processing software
