1、 Working principle

This transmitter is based onTime Domain Reflectance Principle (TDR)During operation, the core electronic unit emits low-power nanosecond level high-frequency microwave pulses (1-2GHz), which propagate vertically downwards along a specially designed coaxial waveguide probe. When the pulse reaches the surface of the measured liquid, impedance mismatch occurs due to the sudden change in dielectric constant between the liquid and air, and some microwave pulses are reflected and returned to the electronic unit receiver along the original path of the probe. The instrument accurately calculates the time difference between pulse transmission and reception, combined with the constant speed of light characteristic, automatically converts the distance from the probe tip to the liquid level, and then converts it into real-time liquid level height through preset range parameters, and finally outputs it as a standard electrical signal. The coaxial probe structure can constrain the microwave propagation path, avoid false echo interference caused by beam diffusion, and ensure pure measurement signals and stable results.
