4.2 Installation Diagram and Requirements

1. Installation position.
2. Installation distance: The minimum distance between the probe and the liquid level shall not be less than 0.3m (blind zone), and the maximum distance shall not exceed the equipment range; The distance between the probe and the tank wall should not be less than 1/10 of the measuring range to avoid interference from reflected waves on the tank wall.
3. Installation method: Using threaded installation (G1.5 standard thread), ensure tight sealing during installation to prevent the infiltration of flammable and explosive gases and liquids; For split type equipment, attention should be paid to the length of the connecting wire between the probe and the meter head (default 5m, can be customized to be extended to 50m), and explosion-proof cables should be used for the connecting wire to avoid areas with strong electromagnetic interference.
4. Environmental requirements: The installation environment should be kept away from strong electromagnetic equipment (such as frequency converters and motors) to avoid electromagnetic interference; Outdoor installation requires sun and rain protection measures, and corresponding customized models should be selected for high and low temperature environments.
