4.2 Installation Diagram and Requirements
4.2.1 Installation Diagram Explanation
This product has an integrated structure. During installation, align the PP flange with the preset flange interface on the tank top and fix it with bolts for sealing; The probe is vertically downward, aligned with the center of the liquid level in the tank, with the head facing upwards for easy observation of the liquid level display; The two-wire cable is connected through the M16 × 1.5 wiring port, with the red wire connected to the positive pole of DC24V and the black wire connected to the negative pole. At the same time, it is connected to the signal input terminals of the PLC and DCS systems. After completing the wiring, it can be powered on for operation.
4.2.2 Installation Requirements
1. Installation position.
2. Blind spot requirement: The distance from the bottom of the probe to the highest liquid level in the tank must be greater than 0.3m (equipment fixed blind spot) to avoid entering the blind spot and causing measurement failure.
3. Flange installation: When the PP flange is connected to the top flange of the tank, a sealing gasket needs to be added to ensure a tight seal and prevent liquid leakage; Tighten the bolts evenly to avoid flange deformation affecting the sealing effect.
4. Wiring requirements: Use shielded cables with a specification of 0.75~1.0mm ², and ensure that the positive and negative poles are reversed during wiring to avoid equipment damage; Install the wiring port downwards to prevent rainwater and dust from entering the junction box.
5. Environmental requirements: The installation environment should be kept away from strong electromagnetic interference equipment (such as frequency converters and motors) to avoid affecting signal stability; Outdoor installation requires the installation of sunshade and rainproof devices to prevent direct sunlight and rainwater immersion from affecting equipment lifespan.
6. Debugging requirements: After power on, according to the actual liquid level on site, the zero point and full range can be easily calibrated through the meter head button to ensure that the measured data is consistent with the actual liquid level.
