Scope of application of bursting disc: It is suitable for chemical reactions that may cause a sudden increase in pressure inside the container, or for containers with highly corrosive media, and is not easily used for liquefied gas storage tanks. It is also not easy to use containers with large pressure fluctuations and more opportunities for pressure relief.

Reason for regular replacement: Long term use of bursting discs under stress can cause metal fatigue, so bursting discs need to be replaced regularly. The replacement cycle of bursting discs depends on factors such as the type, model, material, and operating conditions of the bursting discs.

Conditions for replacement of bursting discs: (1) bursting discs that have not burst due to insufficient bursting pressure should be replaced immediately; (2) Explosive discs that have been inspected and dismantled should be replaced; (3) Explosive discs used under harsh conditions or important occasions should be replaced regularly every year.

Attention: Unless otherwise agreed by the manufacturing unit, protective films, gaskets, and other items are not allowed to be attached to the sealing surface of the bursting disc and clamp.
