The sealing membrane is punctured by the serrations of the pressure rod element to release pressure, thereby protecting the pressure bearing equipment.

Introduction: A bursting disc is a pressure sensitive safety relief component that can rupture and release pressure at a specified temperature and pressure. It is a one-time pressure relief device that cannot be repeatedly closed. At the set bursting temperature, when the pressure difference on both sides of the bursting disc reaches a predetermined value, the bursting disc can move (rupture or fall off) and release fluid.

Function: When the pressure inside the pressure bearing equipment rises below the design pressure of the equipment and reaches the bursting pressure of the bursting disc, the bursting disc can instantly rupture at the relatively weak pressure location (installation position of the bursting disc) on the equipment for safe pressure relief, ensuring the safety of the equipment.

Advantages and disadvantages: Blasting discs have the advantages of good sealing performance, fast reaction action, and are not easily affected by the sticky dirt in the medium. Because it releases pressure through the rupture of the diaphragm, it cannot be used again after release and needs to be replaced immediately. The pressure bearing equipment will also stop running after the action. Therefore, it is only used on pressure vessels that are not suitable for installing safety valves.
