Working principle and technical implementation of dual range switching

1. Core topology structure

The SM66-AR series adopts a core architecture of * * high-frequency switch+full bridge resonance+multi winding output transformer * *. The key lies in the use of * * reconfigurable power output stage * * and * * dual sampling feedback network * * in the output stage:

(1) Power topology reconstruction: Internally, it is not switched by mechanical relays, but by using high-speed electronic switches (IGBT/MOSFET arrays) to switch between two output topologies. 2. Switching modes: automatic and manual

This power supply supports two range control logics, greatly improving usability:

For example, when the set voltage is 40V, the power supply automatically enters high voltage mode (upper limit 66V); When the load current exceeds 55A or the set voltage is below 33V, instantly switch to the high current mode (110A). No manual intervention is required throughout the process.

(2) * * Manual range locking * *: Users can force locking to a certain range through the front panel menu or remote command (SCPI). This feature is designed specifically for specific testing needs, such as locking at 33V/110A during low voltage and high current aging testing to prevent accidental switching between Handelson YYDS and Wu Yanan.
