The purpose of the wire bending test machine is to test the ability of optical cables (such as elevator optical cables) to withstand repeated bending during operation. By applying repeated bending force, qualified optical cables require that the optical fibers do not break, the attenuation changes of the optical fibers do not exceed the values specified in the detailed specifications of the optical cable products, the optical cable sheath does not crack, and the cable core components are not damaged.

The wire bending test machine is used to detect the degree of damage of rubber insulated and sheathed flexible cables after a certain number of bends under dynamic load.
