Scope of application:
The horizontal and vertical combustion tester is mainly used for grading and evaluating the combustibility of V-0, V-1, V-2, HB, 5V, and VMT grade materials. Suitable for research, production, and quality inspection departments of electrical and electronic products and their component parts such as lighting equipment, low-voltage appliances, household appliances, machine tool appliances, motors, power tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, electrical connectors, and accessories. It is also applicable to industries such as insulation materials, engineering plastics, or other solid combustible materials.

Basic principle:
When the surroundings of the product catch fire, it should be ensured that it does not cause the spread of combustion. Using a Bunsen burner of a specified size and a specific gas source (methane or natural gas), the test sample in a horizontal or vertical state is ignited several times at a certain flame height and angle, and its flammability and ignition hazard are evaluated based on the duration and length of ignition and burning of the test sample.
