2、 Basic usage (simple steps)

1. Power on preheating

Turn on the power and preheat for 30 minutes to stabilize the indicators.

2. Connect the tested signal

Connect the signal source to the RF input port of E5052A using SMA cable.

3. Select measurement items

-Measure phase noise: Select Phase Noise mode, set carrier frequency and offset range

-Transient measurement: Select Transient, set bandwidth and time span

-Testing VCO: Connect control voltage and power supply, automatically sweep frequency to measure frequency/power curve

4. Calibration and triggering

Perform calibration when necessary; Capture jump signals using triggers (automatic/single/video).

5. Reading and saving

Screen display curves and numerical values; Can be saved as CSV or screenshot for reporting purposes.
