Tungsten rhenium thermocouples can be used in vacuum, reducing, and inert atmospheres within the temperature range of 0-2300 ℃. Tungsten rhenium couples with special protective tubes can also be used for a long time in an oxidizing atmosphere at 1600 ℃.
