Overview

S-1500 is a modern vacuum stability tester used to test the chemical stability of energetic materials. It integrates three major systems of control, testing, and evaluation. Through testing, the amount of gas generated by the sample during long-term isothermal heating can be evaluated, and the test results can be used for thermal stability evaluation of energetic materials. The experiment can be conducted in a vacuum with the presence of certain gases (inert nitrogen, oxidizing oxygen). The instrument can automatically test the chemical stability of the following substances: pyrotechnics, explosives, nitrocellulose, and numerous raw materials, mixtures, and other substances that are easily decomposed by long-term temperature effects.

Product Details

Testing principle:

Place the evacuated test tube containing the sample in the heating module, which heats it at a constant temperature for a period of time, and continuously tracks the amount of gas produced by the sample to achieve the testing purpose. This sophisticated instrument equipment consists of multiple electronic components and other devices, including sensitive high-precision pressure sensors, temperature sensors, data collection devices, temperature controllers, and limit controllers. To achieve maximum operational performance and reliability, it is necessary to properly manage all subsystems of the instrument system, which is precisely the role played by software. The software is responsible for establishing communication, setting up, and managing all subsystems to ensure that they interact and operate as expected. This program contains a complex experiment management system that can simultaneously conduct multiple (different types of) experiments, analyze experimental data, and display the results obtained from the analysis. Two independent temperature controllers that can be used independently for temperature control and overtemperature alarm are equipped with overtemperature protection and buzzer sound warning system. Once the heating temperature exceeds the set threshold, the independent warning system will cut off the power and stop heating.

Pressure sensor: Made entirely of stainless steel, the probe is made of Pt metal, which has excellent corrosion resistance and can ensure long-term effective use, ensuring stable transmission of sensor test data to the host. The vacuum pumping pipeline is made of polytetrafluoroethylene, which is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion;

4. Sample size available for heating: 10 pieces, sample size: 5g;

5. Reactor volume: 25 ± 0.5ml;

6. Heating temperature of constant temperature bath: 30-160 ℃, temperature control accuracy of 0.1 ℃;

7. Laboratory temperature measurement: 0-60 ℃, accuracy of 0.1 ℃, platinum resistance temperature sensor. Test result repeatability: 0.1%;

8. Heating module power: ≤ 500W, reliable safety performance;

9. Measurement accuracy of air release volume: ± 0.001ml;

10. The software can display the values of each pressure sensor and temperature sensor in real time, and can set calibration programs to calibrate each test tube and sensor. Automatically record pressure changes inside the test tube, automatically record environmental temperature and pressure, draw process P-T curves, evaluate and analyze test results, and monitor the test process.
