Overview

VICKERS plunger pump adopts a plunger pump with a supplementary oil pump for oil supply. After 3000 hours of use, the operator needs to check the plunger pump 1-2 times a day to check whether the hydraulic pump is operating normally and whether the sound is normal. If it is found that the speed of the hydraulic cylinder has decreased or the car is stuck, the oil replenishment pump should be disassembled and inspected to check whether there are scratches on the impeller edge and whether the clearance between the internal gear pump is too large. For self-priming plunger pumps, the oil in the hydraulic oil tank must not be lower than the lower limit of the oil gauge, and a sufficient amount of hydraulic oil must be maintained.

VICKERS plunger pump maintenance:
After using the plunger pump with a supplementary oil pump for oil supply for 3000 hours, the operator needs to check the plunger pump 1-2 times a day to check whether the hydraulic pump is operating normally and whether the sound is normal. The higher the cleanliness of hydraulic oil, the longer the service life of hydraulic pumps. The important component of a plunger pump is the bearing. If there is clearance in the bearing, it cannot guarantee the normal clearance of the three pairs of friction pairs inside the hydraulic pump, and it will also damage the thickness of the static hydraulic support oil film of each friction pair, reducing the service life of the plunger pump bearing. According to the information provided by the hydraulic pump manufacturer, the average service life of the bearing is 10000 hours, and if it exceeds this value, a new port needs to be replaced. The clearance of the disassembled bearing cannot be detected without professional testing instruments, and can only be visually inspected. If scratches or discoloration are found on the roller surface, it must be replaced. When replacing bearings, attention should be paid to the English letters and models of the original bearings. Most plunger pump bearings use high load capacity bearings. When purchasing products of the original specifications, if you want to replace them with another brand, you should consult experienced personnel who have knowledge of bearings to check the table for replacement, in order to maintain the accuracy level and load capacity of the bearings. The service life of a plunger pump is related to regular maintenance, the quantity and quality of hydraulic oil, and the cleanliness of the oil.
Avoiding particles in the oil from causing wear and tear on the friction pair of the plunger pump is also an effective way to extend the service life of the plunger pump. When replacing parts during maintenance, it is advisable to use original factory produced parts as much as possible. These parts may be more expensive than other counterfeit parts, but they have better quality and stability. If you purchase cheap counterfeit parts, it may seem to save costs in the short term, but it may also bring hidden dangers and pose greater harm to the use of plunger pumps. There are two forms of distribution plates: flat distribution and spherical distribution. The friction pair of spherical valve distribution can be repaired by grinding when the scratches on the cylinder distribution surface are relatively shallow; When the groove on the distribution surface of the cylinder body is deep, "surface engineering technology" should be used to fill the groove first, and then grinding should be carried out. Blind grinding is not allowed to prevent thinning of the copper layer or oil leakage from the steel base. Piston pumps can also use frequency converters to save electricity. Engineers from Shanghai Zhengyi pointed out that in the actual production process, plunger pumps usually operate with pressure or flow to regulate their working state. When the actual pressure is greater than the required pressure, it is adjusted through an overflow valve to maintain a stable working pressure and allow the overflow valve to release the excess. And the motor keeps running at full speed repeatedly, with no change in power consumption. When using overflow to regulate pressure and flow, some of the excess overflow returns to the original system, resulting in useless power and low working efficiency of the plunger pump. If a Chuangjie energy-saving frequency converter is used, the overflow valve can be closed, and the energy-saving frequency converter itself can automatically adjust the working pressure to maintain stability and track the pressure of the equipment. Implement automated control to save energy consumption. The advantage of this adjustment method is that it can reduce the operating energy consumption of the plunger pump, and the energy-saving effect can reach more than 30%.
VICKERS plunger pump maintenance:
(1) Check the plunger for scratches and rust, and replace it with a new one if necessary.
(2) Check the fit of the plunger pair. Insert the plunger end into the plunger sleeve and tilt it about 60 °. If the plunger can slowly slide down under its own action, it is considered a good fit.
(3) Check the sealing of the plunger pair. Grasp the plunger sleeve with your hand and block the oil inlet at the top and side of the plunger with two fingers. Pull out the plunger with the other hand and feel a strong suction force. Release the plunger and immediately retract it to its original position, indicating that the plunger pair is well sealed. Otherwise, the plunger pair should be replaced.
(4) Check whether the pressure reducing ring of the oil outlet valve is worn, has steps or scratches, and replace it if necessary.
(5) Check the fit of the oil outlet valve pair. Block the lower hole of the oil outlet valve with your finger, and gently press the oil outlet valve downwards with another finger. When the finger leaves the upper end of the oil outlet valve, it can automatically bounce back to its original position, indicating that the oil outlet valve pair is well sealed. Otherwise, the oil outlet valve pair should be replaced.
(6) Check the pillar body. The standard clearance between the fuel injection pump body and the plunger body is 0-0.03mm. If it exceeds 0.2mm, the parts should be replaced.
(7) Check the gap between the plunger flange and the groove of the control sleeve, which should be 0.02-0.08mm. If it exceeds 0.12mm, the control sleeve must be replaced.
