Ultra low frequency high voltage generator is a specialized power supply device used for insulation testing of high voltage power equipment, especially medium and low voltage cables. It outputs high voltage sine or cosine square waves with extremely low frequency, specifically used to replace AC withstand voltage tests at power frequency (50/60Hz) to solve the problem of excessive test current for large capacitive loads at power frequency.
Our company's new generation series of ultra-low frequency high-voltage generators adopts independently developed core products, including a 7-inch touch screen, imported high-speed AD acquisition circuit, and production technology. Improved the stability of instrument quality, reduced the volume and weight of equipment, simple operation, overcome many shortcomings of similar domestic products, and have a much higher cost-effectiveness than mechanical boosters of similar imported products with short service life, high failure rate, and large volume. Compared to other types of voltage withstand testing equipment, 0.1Hz ultra-low frequency has many advantages.
Main application scenarios:
The ultra-low frequency high voltage generator is mainly used for preventive testing and handover testing of medium and low voltage distribution network cables (10kV, 35kV), as well as for testing small capacitance equipment such as motors and insulators.
Cross linked polyethylene cables: especially acceptance tests for old cables or newly installed joints.
Wind power generation: used to test the insulation of the stator winding of wind turbines.
Mining cables: Due to limited underground space, the portability advantage of VLF equipment is obvious.
