Overview

The non partial discharge withstand voltage test device is a specialized precision testing system used to evaluate the insulation performance of high-voltage electrical equipment. Unlike ordinary withstand voltage tests that only focus on whether the equipment is "broken down", the core task of this device is to detect and quantify whether partial discharge (referred to as partial discharge) occurs inside the insulation while applying high voltage, to ensure that the equipment has no potential defects under long-term operating voltage.

Product Details

The non partial discharge voltage withstand test device is a combination device that can generate high voltage and synchronously detect weak discharge signals. It usually includes a non partial discharge variable frequency power supply, a non partial discharge excitation transformer, a non partial discharge resistor, a capacitive voltage divider, and a partial discharge detector.
Objective: To discover bubbles, impurities, cracks, or electric field concentration points in insulation. These defects will generate small sparks (i.e. partial discharge) under high voltage, which may not immediately penetrate, but will gradually corrode the insulation and ultimately lead to equipment damage.
Main technical features:
Low partial discharge background: The device is designed with special insulation materials and shielding technology to ensure that the partial discharge of the device itself is less than the allowable value at rated voltage and does not interfere with measurements.
Strong anti-interference ability: There is a large amount of electromagnetic interference on site (such as corona, poor contact, communication signals). Modern devices typically have anti-interference functions such as digital filtering, pulse polarity discrimination, and frequency band adjustment to extract real signals.
Dual function: It can be used for pure withstand voltage testing (passing), partial discharge measurement (measuring discharge capacity), or a combination of both.
Main application scenarios:
This device is mainly used for power equipment with high insulation reliability requirements, especially for factory testing and type testing:
High voltage cables: Check the air gap at the main insulation or accessory joints.
GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear): Check for internal particles or electrode burrs.
Power transformers and transformers: detect bubbles or moisture in oil paper insulation.
Generator: Evaluate the insulation condition of the stator bars.
