UV disinfection system for open channel sewage

Product model: UVWHG type

Product Introduction

The open sewage disinfection technology system adopts advanced UV-C disinfection technology, based on special process design, high-efficiency, high-strength, and long-life UV-C lamps, reliable electronic ballasts, and electronic control systems. It uses UV-C band (T254nm) ultraviolet light to effectively and broad-spectrum kill pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses, achieving the purpose of water purification and disinfection.
Due to the use of first-class high-efficiency UV-C lamps and excellent electrical control systems, the power consumption of the UV disinfection system is significantly lower than that of traditional UV disinfection systems. In terms of system design, the equipment personnel of Peide Company fully consider the attenuation of light intensity during the operation of ultraviolet lamps and the deposition on the surface of quartz sleeves, which weakens the light intensity and reduces the sterilization efficiency. Therefore, the disinfection system is designed to leave a large margin. Even if the light intensity of the lamps drops to 60% of the rated value, the entire system can still compete for production and operation. So far, it has been increasingly widely used in the field of water disinfection, especially in the disinfection of large amounts of sewage and return water, due to its unique advantages.

Application scope
Suitable for disinfection of large, medium, and small sewage treatment plants, landscape water, aquaculture, reclaimed water reuse, and hospital sewage.

Effective dose of ultraviolet radiation
UV dose(μ w. s/cm2)=effective radiation intensity of ultraviolet radiation (μ w. s/cm2) x duration of exposure (S).
The effective dose of ultraviolet radiation is the key to determining whether the system can complete sterilization and disinfection. Ultraviolet radiation has different killing effects on different bacteria, viruses, spores, and molds. Different strains of bacteria require different doses of ultraviolet radiation to achieve equivalent killing rates.

UV effective dose detection method: biological verification method
Biological verification is an experimental validation to determine the effective dose of ultraviolet radiation that can be achieved by ultraviolet scheduling equipment. Biological verification is to determine the degree of microbial inactivation after ultraviolet irradiation, and compare the detection results with the known degree of microbial inactivation. The detection results are then compared with the known standard UV dose response curve of the microorganism to determine the effective dose of ultraviolet radiation that the disinfection equipment can achieve, which is the effective dose of ultraviolet radiation for the equipment.

Advantages of open channel ultraviolet disinfection system
Low voltage high-intensity lamp/mercury lamp ultraviolet intensity sensor and alarm system
Automatic cleaning overflow weir gate or non moving gate flap gate water level control
