Installation method of pipeline or tank body |
Due to the requirements of the production process, online density meters are often installed on sites with harsh working conditionsIn order to minimize the severity of the working conditions of the density meter, it should be installed as much as possible in places with small temperature gradients and temperature changes, no impact and vibration, and no bubbles. Only by fully considering the on-site conditions can it achieve its expected accuracy indicators. Pay attention to the following items during installation:
1. The product must be installed vertically, with a perpendicularity of no more than 5 degrees to the ground (if the installation is not vertical, or if the local gravity acceleration deviates from the standard gravity acceleration, a deviation will occur, and the elimination of this deviation will be introduced later).
2. When installing on the side, the flange straight pipe section should be able to be smoothly installed.
3. After opening the cover of the electrical box, it should be tightened during reinstallation to ensure proper sealingThe O-ring is in close contact, and if not tightened, moisture will enter the electrical box, affecting the normal operation of the circuit.
4. The outer shell of the density meter must be effectively grounded.
5. The installation location should be as far away as possible from the frequency converter or high-power motor, and isolation measures should be taken if necessary, using shielded power lines.
6. After installation, adjust the air tube to zero and display the density value as 0g/cm ³. (Note: Zero adjustment is required. Please refer to the next page for detailed steps.)
7. The distance between the sensors of the direct online liquid density meter should be at least 200mm, with a diameter of 50mm. The installation size on site cannot be smaller than these dimensions. If a curved density meter is selected, please measure the flange and length dimensions that can be inserted into the pipe.
8. The liquid on site must be kept within two measuring sensors, and the distance from the flange to one sensor is optional.
9. During pipeline installation, it is necessary to allow liquid to enter from below the sensor or from above the sensor, and not from the middle. When installing pipelines for liquid flow, at least 30CM of liquid buffer distance should be left at the valve or elbow part of the pipeline.
10. The red flange matching part of the installation diagram is provided for installation by the user. If a matching flange is needed, please specify when placing an order.
11. Equipped with a 24V DC output 4-20mA signal, if a secondary meter is required, connect the 24V "+" to the "+" pole behind the density meter, connect the current signal "+" to the "-" pole of the density meter, and short-circuit the 24V "-" and current signal terminals "-" on the secondary meter.
12. If there are corrosive liquids outside the site environment, please take protective measures. If there is a risk of lightning strikes, please install grounding devices in the surrounding area.
13. When disassembling for cleaning, please ensure that the sensor diaphragm is not damaged by collision or other factors.
14. Do not use it above 5Mpa.
15. If adjusting the range requires the use of a handheld device, please contact the manufacturer for technical issues.
Common troubleshooting of KDM260 Kelison densitometer:
1. The two sensor heads are fragile parts of the densitometer, and external damage can cause damage to the densitometer. In order to protect the sensor from damage during transportation and installation, the protective cover must be removed only after installation is completed. Remember!!
2. The density meter has been adjusted to the * state when it leaves the factory. Non professionals are not allowed to adjust it arbitrarily. Professional on-site calibration method: Insert the densitometer vertically into pure water and adjust it with a handheld device that supports the HART protocol. Follow the instrument manual for specific operations.
3. When the density transmitter is found to be malfunctioning, first check if the power and ground wires are properly connected.
4. When the transmitter reading is found to be significantly different from the actual value, first check whether the membranes of the two membrane boxes have been damaged or deformed by external forces.

The signal terminal is located in an independent compartment of the electrical box. When wiring, the meter cover on the wiring side can be unscrewed. Connect the power cord as shown in the diagram (the signal is attached to the power cord). Do not thread the signal line through a metal tube or place it in the same slot as other power lines, and do not pass near strong electrical equipment. The outer shell of the density meter is grounded. Because the transmitter is grounded through capacitive coupling, when checking the insulation resistance, the circuit inspection should use a value not greater than45VThe voltage and output current of the density meter shall not exceed30mA. LCD supports dual variable display, with adjustable display variables including current, percentage of main variable, and main variable; Each variable can be independently set to display decimal point positions: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. If two display variables are the same, the LCD will only display one variable; Otherwise, the LCD will display at 3-second intervals,
